The crazy thing is I only very recently discovered Dyke And The Blazers. I remember hearing the "Some people don't like the way Sally walk" bit in the Stetsasonic song called "Sally" back in 1988 and never knew it came from the original sound of Dyke. I'm pretty sure I first heard Dyke's version on a blog mix and it was like BLAMMO! After all these years, that's where that sample came from? Of course I went on a mission to find any and all Dyke records and was just amazed at the massive amounts of FUNK...
