TG Notes: I just LOVE finding good, new “soulsites” and sharing them with you. This time, the tables were turned and the site found me instead {smile}.
JOURNEYintoSOUL.net (what a great name!) is a very good looking site that I’m sure we’ll all enjoy. For example, check out the very well done initial podcast, JOURNEY into SOUL - Show One, which features independent artist Ian Martin, and a number of other enjoyably soulful tunes by some new and/or independent artists. This site’s a “keeper” and already has a place in my regular, “must-check-it-out-at-least-once-a-week” rotation.
JOURNEYintoSOUL is an idea that Thomas Baltazar (aka DJ urban unrest) and Edward Uken came up with one sunny Sunday morning while sitting on a park bench. Ed is a musician, having played saxophone and piano for about ten years. Tom is a DJ with great ties to the local soul scene with a marketing background. We decided to put together a podcast that shared our love for music, and set out to find unsigned artists that produce positive, uplifting, SOULfull music, and help share our discoveries with others.
