Browser Wars 2.0: IE7 Beta 2 Preview Released

Microsoft has released beta 2 of the next version of their Internet Explorer web browser (IE7) to the public. Although I am a staunch Firefox fan these days, I have been looking forward to putting the new IE browser through its paces since it was announced last year.

Let’s face it, even though Microsoft’s IE is the dominant web browser in the world, IE6 was starting to fall behind in features, performance and capability compared to its competition (Firefox, Opera, Safari, et al). And Microsoft, as we have all come to learn, is at its best when it feels the heat of competition in a market it wants to dominate.
